Pfaffenhofen an der Roth, 7 August 2025. NewTec GmbH, a specialist in safety-related electronic systems, is now contributing its safety, security and AI expertise as an engineering and consulting member of the Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab ecosystem.
The Halos AI System Inspection Lab enables manufacturers to easily integrate their products with NVIDIA Halos – a comprehensive, holistic system for the safe development of AI-based systems.
With the Halos AI Lab, they can thoroughly inspect their products and ensure that they meet the highest international standards for functional safety (such as ISO 26262, ISO 21448 and IEC 61508), cybersecurity (such as ISO 21434) and physical AI safety (ISO PAS 8800, ISO/IEC TR 5469, ISO/IEC TS 22440). The lab has been accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) as a functional safety facility.

In the NVIDIA Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab, the Pfaffenhofen-based company will primarily contribute its experience and expertise in developing safety-related systems and integrating trustworthy AI technology.

"This enables them to comprehensively meet the safety requirements for autonomous systems when integrating with NVIDIA Halos and to bring their products to market maturity faster."
As an engineering and consulting member of the ecosystem, NewTec will not only cover the automotive sector. Drawing on its extensive development experience from industrial, robotics and agricultural technology projects, the safety and security specialist also aims to support manufacturers and start-ups from these industries in safely integrating their products into the NVIDIA Halos system.
