Pfaffenhofen an der Roth, 20 November 2025. NewTec GmbH, a specialist in safety-related electronic systems, is presenting its new modular gateway platform for protecting Industry 4.0 applications against cyberattacks at this year's SPS in Nuremberg. The Pfaffenhofen-based company is also presenting its cybersecurity services for embedded systems – a comprehensive range of services supporting product development in compliance with legislation and standards.

This year, NewTec's focus is on solutions and services for developing cyber-secure products. With NTSecureGateway MCP (Modular Compute Platform), the safety and security specialist offers a modular, high-performance gateway platform for secure communication between machines, controllers, sensors and the cloud. Thanks to its flexible, modular design, it is particularly well suited to customer-specific developments or small series – for example in mechanical and plant engineering and automation technology, as an edge computing platform with local pre-processing and analysis functions, or for machine learning-based applications (e.g. image processing, predictive maintenance). Various systems-on-module (SOMs) allow optimal adaptation to the respective requirements. An extensive Linux-based software toolkit accelerates the development of safety-related applications.

At the NewTec stand, visitors can also find out about the new cybersecurity services for embedded systems. The extensive range extends from support in optimising legally and normatively compliant safety and development processes, through consultancy and solutions for the effective and compliant development of cyber-secure products, to managed services for cyber-secure operation (e.g. vulnerability monitoring, Product Incident Response Team and PKI management).

The presentation by NewTec's AI and security specialist Stefan Strang will also address cybersecurity, specifically with regard to the use of AI technology. On 26 November 2025 at 2.40 pm, he will speak on the stage in Hall 1 on the topic "Threat modelling for AI components – an exemplary security assessment in the tension between the CRA and the AI Act".

Further information is available at the NewTec stand 159 in Hall 5.
