Get yourself checked independently: the NT IT security attestation
Our IT security attestation helps you provide the conformity evidence your product needs under legal requirements such as CRA, RED2 and NIS2, so your product is future-proof and market-ready today.
Customers and partners, as well as lawmakers, are placing ever higher demands on the independence, transparency and traceability of the security measures behind products and services. In response, NewTec GmbH carries out structured, context-specific security assessments and issues security assessment certificates confirming that, within the defined scope and based on the agreed methods, no critical vulnerabilities were identified.
For providers, the attestation is a strong argument with regulators (for example the FDA or EU notified bodies) and serves as proof of quality. It documents transparently that statutory IT security requirements are taken seriously. For buyers and customers it builds trust: a product with an attestation meets defined security requirements and signals that the manufacturer treats IT security as a core quality feature.
What gets checked?
As part of the security assessment, we examine, as an independent organisation, both the design and the practical implementation of the product. The IT security certificate is only granted when no critical vulnerabilities have been found.
Our neutrality and technical expertise guarantee an objective assessment, a reliable proof of quality even in the context of regulatory requirements such as CRA and others.
How is it checked?
The security assessment follows a structured, multi-phase approach guided by established standards such as IEC 81001-5-1, IEC 62443-4-1 and ISO/IEC 21434. Link to the security assessment process
What does the attestation include?
- a detailed assessment report,
- the official attestation certificate naming the assessed security features,
- an entry in our public attestation list on this website,
- on request, a publicly available whitepaper that explains the assessed protective measures in plain language.
Who carries out the assessment?
NewTec assesses with cross-functional expert teams. Depending on the product and its operating context, we combine cybersecurity analysts, penetration testers, domain experts and requirements specialists into a perfectly balanced assessment team. Thanks to our experience in highly regulated industries and our strength in assessment quality and documentation, we deliver traceable and robust security assessments, even in a regulatory setting.
